We provide DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing. Lab-based or point-of-care urine and saliva testing is available. We also offer after-hours and mobile services.
An audiometric examination should be done for workers exposed to excess noise prior to employment, and at regular intervals in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Our audiometric technicians and standardized equipment and protocols ensure your employees are tested in accordance with occupational health and safety standard.
Spirometry or Pulmonary Function Tests(PFTs) measure lung capacity and screens for any restrictive or obstructive airway disease. Workplace exposures can compromise lung health. Regular screening can monitor for any damage to lung health and is mandatory for workers who are required to wear repirators as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
JBA Medical's facility and equipment make it easy for our nurses to obtain a full medical history, perform a head-to-toe medical exam, and administer a physical abilities test based on the specific job PDA to ensure you hire the right employee for the job.
When employees are required to use a respirator mask, fit testing is required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Fit testing ensures masks fit properly and protects the worker from air contaminants. Testing should be done every 2 years or with any significant change in weight.
